- Operate and maintain bindery equipment such as cutters, folders, stitchers, and other finishing machines.
- Perform binding, cutting, folding, and assembling of printed materials to meet client specifications and production timelines.
- Prepare materials for mailing, including labeling, packaging, and ensuring correct delivery formats.
- Assist in maintaining an organized and clean work area, adhering to safety standards and company policies.
- Ensure all bindery tasks are completed on time, while meeting or exceeding quality standards.
- Work closely with the production and design teams to ensure that client projects are completed to specifications.
- Troubleshoot and address any issues that arise with bindery equipment or materials during the production process.
- Maintain accurate records of production, job orders, and materials used.
- Follow all company guidelines and processes to ensure consistency and quality across all projects.
- Previous experience in bindery or finishing work within a printing, marketing, or sign-making environment is preferred.
- Ability to operate bindery and finishing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with other team members and departments.
- Ability to follow production timelines and adjust to changes in workload and priorities.
- Physical ability to lift materials and move heavy equipment when necessary.
- Basic knowledge of printing processes and materials is a plus.
